Whilst conducting a photo workshop in Papau New Guinea I once dispatched a liveaboard dive boat to an area of reef suitable for late afternoon 'dapple light' photography. I failed to consult with the Captain and he moored on the wrong side of the reef. The light was excellent but the reef was in the wrong direction as a result of my mistake.
