Select or type a new album destination albums are Easy Shares way of letting you organize groups of similar photos see Section 641 for details

Translation: Choose an existing album for your photos or create a new one. From the drop-down menu, choose from a list of existing EasyShare albums, or type the name of a new album you want to create. The first time you use Easy-Share, you see albums with names that match the folders in your My Pictures folder. If you chose not to add photos when you installed EasyShare you see New Album in the drop-down list.

When you're adding photos that are already on your computer, EasyShare doesn't move the photos or copy them to a different Windows folder. The photos stay put, but in EasyShare, thumbnails of the photos show up in albums.

On the other hand, if you're adding photos from a memory card or a camera, EasyShare copies them to a folder on your computer's hard drive. The photos are placed in a folder with the same name as the album selected in the Add Pictures box (Figure 5-7 ). By turning on "Remove pictures from original device," you tell EasyShare to delete the photos from your camera or memory card, freeing up space so you can take more pictures.

Tip: Having trouble finding where EasyShare stashes your imported photos? If you can't find them in your My Pictures folder, look in your Shared Pictures folder: My Computer ^^ Shared Documents ^^ Shared Pictures * Kodak Pictures.

Nothing is available on the market that does not have both a good and a bad side, but the key is to weigh the good against the bad in order to come up with the best of both worlds.
