Previewing and Printing from the Editor

Before you actually print your photos, you need to make sure they're set up for great-looking prints. For example, a photo must have enough resolution to produce a good quality print. The bigger the print, the higher resolution you need. (For a refresher, see "Understanding Resolution and Print Size" in Section 16.1.1 .) Also, the type of paper you print on makes a big difference in the color and quality of your output, as explained in "Choosing the Right Paper" in Section 16.1.3 .

You check these settings in two windowsthe Page Setup dialog box and the Elements Print Preview Window. First, open your image, and then:
