If you want to convey a great deal of energy and speed, move the camera at the same rate as the moving object (called "tracking"). It will take some practice to get your timing just right, but the result can be a dynamic image of everything in the photo being a blur of motion with only portions of the central object (such as a car or a running athlete) clearly defined. (See Figure 6-5.) Better cameras will have rear and front curtain sync (see Chapter 9), which creates yet another type of dynamic motion in your photos.
