Another photographic specialty is photography for corporate annual reports. These printed and illustrated reports are published for the public as well as for stockholders. Competition for this work is quite high, but the prize often includes an opportunity to do subsequent publications work for corporations.
Some photojournalists find an outlet for their work supplying images to companies for use in PowerPoint presentations and programs. Such programs are shown by corporations and institutions at public gatherings, trade shows, conventions, and sales meetings. In addition to producing photographs for these productions, knowledge of how the programs are put together and familiarization with the mechanics and electronics involved can be valuable.
