Otolith description

Otolith large and distinctive, fusiform. Dorsal margin entire to slightly lobed; ventral margin distinctly crenate to serrate on the anterior and medial segments and entire on the posterior-ventral segment. Sulcus groove wide and heterosulcoid; opening ostio-caudal. Cauda slightly larger than ostium. Colliculum hetero-morph. Collum absent. Crista superior and crista inferior ridge-like and curved. Rostrum short and blunt. Antirostrum rounded. Excisura moderate; angle wide. Ventral area slightly grooved.
